Salad a Rama on
August 1, 2008 from 11 AM til 1 PM at Erin City Hall.
Tickets will be on sale at the door.

Community Information
Houston County Fair
The Houston Co. Fair will be held Sept. 2 - 6, 2008 at Perdue Acoustics, Front Street in Erin. Entertainment is schedulted nightly on the Back Porch Stage, in addition to other events. Area residents are encouraged to get their best recipes ready and enter this year's Chili Cook-Off and Grilling Competition. Participants may enter either contest, or both.
Agricultural and Home Economic exhibits will be accepted on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Exhibit information and categories, as well as livestock show rules may be found on the Houston Co. Fair website at www.houstoncofair.com. Information can also be obtained from fair board members and the Houston Co. Extension Office. The fair also has a Myspace page.
The fair's entertainment venue includes wrestling to be held on Tuesday, a community worship service on Wednesday, a demolition derby on Thursday, and "Bulls and Barrels" held Saturday. Something for everyone can be found at the 2008 Houston County Fair.
