Farmers Market

If you are interested in being a vendor you can email us at hcfarmersmarket2015@gmail.com and I'll send out an application and set of Guidelines for vendors.

Its $25.00/year or $15.00 for Chamber of Commerce members. This membership fee covers your insurance, marketing and 10 business cards for the Farmers Market.

We are also looking for local musical talent to perform in the pavilion on market Saturdays. This will be a donation performance on your part, but a great way to highlight your talent and enhance the market atmosphere. Email me at the address above if your interested in performing.

The market will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of each month through October at the Betsy Ligon Park in downtown Erin.

Ribbon Cutting BBQ Shack

The Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce wishes the BBQ Shack the

greatest success. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Saturday, May 30, at The

BBQ Shack, a new business in Tennessee Ridge. It is owned by Hope Lynch Byrd

and John Wayne Hooper. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to

8:00pm, and on Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. From left are Kelly Irons, Paul

Bailey, Cathy Allison, Hope Byrd, John Hooper, Colton Easterling, Angel Easterling,

Teresa Mitchell, and Leah Baggett.

Shamrock Spirits Ribbon Cutting

Like all of our local businesses, The Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce

wishes Shamrock Spirits the greatest success. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on

Saturday, March 16, at Shamrock Spirits, a new business in Erin. Shamrock Spirits is

owned by Billy Paxton and Beth & Buster Luffman. They are open Monday through

Thursday from 9:00am to 8:00pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to

11:00pm. From left are Melissa Barker, Paul Bailey, Daryl McGrath, Dakota Paxton,

Billy Paxton, Anita Paxton, Teresa Mitchell, Kari Smith, Leah Baggett, Buster
