The Business and Industry Luncheon will be
Wednesday, May 21st
11:30 A. M. at the Erin City Hall.
The speaker will be Philip Trauernicht from the
State of TN, Economic and Community Development.
A delicious lunch of Turkey and Dressing with all the trimmings catered by Cleghern's Deli and home-made desserts by the good cooks of Houston County will be served.
All members of the Chamber are invited. Please call 289-5100 or E-Mail irish@peoplestel.net to reply so food will be ample. Dress is what you wear to work.

2008 Relay for Life
UPDATE
There are 10 relay teams in Houston County. The Houston County Relay For Life will be June 27 at 5 p.m. until June 28 5 a.m. at Betsy Ligon Park.
---There will be a Silent Basket Auction/Entertainment Night held Friday June 6th at Erin City Hall. There will also be FOOD. Hamburgers, Hot dogs Drinks and Deserts.
---The survivor dinner will be held at Cedar Valley Church on June the 7th at 5 p.m. Jolena Clark is heading up this event.
---The Relay promises to be fun...there will be LOTS of activities and entertainment this year. A few of the events include a
- WOMAN LESS PAGENT...contact Kassi Rye (931-721-6187) to enter ,
- an Elvis impersonator,
- Cake walk,
- Games,
- Face Painting....the list goes on.
The relay is still looking for sponsors to put their ads on the back of the t-shirts. It is $500 sponsorship to have your business logo and number added. Please contact Christy Ross (931-622-0293) for details. The deadline for sponsorship logos to go on the shirts is May 16th.
