Holiday Decorating Contest


Plans are now underway for this year's St. Patrick's Day decorating contest and we encourage all Houston County residents to decorate their mailboxes and business to decorate their display windows in IRISH style!


Contest entry forms can be returned to Signature HealthCARE of Erin by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2th, 2015 or mailed to 278 Rocky Hollow Road, Erin, TN 37061 (postmarked by March 2, 2014.) Judging will be conducted on Saturday, March 7th and winners will be recognized on Monday, March 9th, by the Area Chamber of Commerce sign posted in your yard along with a winning picture in the Stewart-Houston Times. Show off your pride for the Annual Irish Parade!

The times are Bench Show @ 6:00 & Nite Hunt @ 7:00 also the Hunt Director is Jonathan Mitchell.

Bench Show Judge Candice Ray. The Nite Hunt entry fee is $20 and Bench Show entry fee is $15.

Red River Breeze is an acoustic instrumental quartet that plays traditional Celtic, Renaissance, Old-Time and World music. The group, which has been in existence for over thirteen years, is based in Clarksville, Tennessee and plays traditional instruments including hammered dulcimer, fiddle, penny whistle, Renaissance recorder, guitar and djembe.
